Sita Ji is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and wellness practitioner living in the countryside, deeply committed to the well-being of Mother Earth and to nurturing the interconnectedness of all life. Her work weaves together music, healing, community, and earth stewardship, drawing on years of study, personal practice, and relationship with Indigenous medicines and healing modalities. Through time spent in community alongside wisdom carriers, she has developed a deep appreciation for ancestral knowledge and the ways these teachings can offer guidance for the challenges of our modern world.

As a community educator and facilitator, Sita is the curator of the Medicine Family Gathering, an accessible space where people come together for healing, connection, and transformation. The cultivation of harmony, conflict resolution, and authentic relating are also central to her work. Through online and in-person workshops, group gatherings, and private sessions, she supports individuals and communities in developing more conscious relationships with themselves and one another. Her work encourages self-awareness, accountability, compassion, and care, fostering the conditions for people and communities to grow in greater harmony with themselves, each other, and the Earth.

Sita is also deeply engaged in community development and serves as the Executive Director of the Friends of Breadnut Valley Foundation. Through this work, she has contributed to disaster recovery, farmer support, and initiatives focused on social and emotional well-being, literacy, and vocational development. Her efforts support the confidence, empowerment, and overall development of students, parents, and teachers, strengthening individuals and communities as they navigate challenges and build more resilient futures.
